         Hey!

You old gin guzzling, paper shaking,Betties and Daddios! Reading        can really razz your berries, so go         ahead and ditch those curtain climbers, grab your peepers and have a blast!

Once Upon a time...

Reading is muh jam. I think I would rather give up all of my vices, collectively, than my books. I mean, I'm not going to do that, because I have fantastic vices, but I could.

Being an only child, books were an easy companion, not in a 'sad' way, I wasn't holed up in some funky Harry Potter closet or anything. However, I did read a prodigious amount and with diligence. Our Librarian, Mrs. Syrian, always let me check out more books than were allowed. "Don't tell anyone," she would whisper, "this is just for you." In hindsight, she probably wanted to go home and I was just loitering about like a junkie at a methadone clinic. Nevertheless, I took full advantage of her kindness and carried stacks of books home like a Tibetan sherpa.

Alas, my Kindle has replaced all that beautiful bulk for accessibility, but nothing beats cracking open a fresh read and earning those pages. You can checkout some of my favorite books here! It would be the bees knees to hear your book recommendations or connect with me on Goodreads. Happy reading, nerds.
